    Show your work

    Add a photo of your work, your location and a short description of what you do. You can also add an indicative price and your workshop equipment.

    Receive a request

    The customer sends a description and photos. Meiker notifies you by email. You review the job and decide whether you are interested.

    Agree or decline

    You set the price and timing. If the job does not suit you, you do not have to accept it. The agreement remains recorded in the Meiker job.

Your work is your advertising.

You do not need your own website or advertising copy. Customers first see your work, then what you do, where you are and any indicative pricing you choose to show.

We are building the first network of makers while bringing in the first customers. That means we cannot yet promise a certain number of requests or any level of earnings.

Your profile is free during launch and Meiker takes no commission from the jobs it brings you. If these terms change later, we will tell you in advance.

Do I have to accept every request?

No. You look at every request first and decide yourself whether you want to take it on. If the work, price, timing or brief does not suit you, you can decline it.

How will customers find me?

Customers can find you by service, city and the examples of your work. They send you a request straight from your profile.

How do I get paid?

During launch the customer pays you directly, in the way you agree together. You agree the price and terms before the work starts. Meiker does not currently hold or process payments.

What work is not allowed?

Meiker does not currently allow work on gas appliances, load-bearing structures, products connected directly to the mains, products meant for contact with food, or children's products and toys.

It means Meiker has made an extra check of the maker's profile or a reference job. It is not a professional certification or a guarantee of quality for any particular job.
