3D printing

A new plastic part is made from measurements or from the old piece.

The maker prepares it on a computer, prints it and sends or hands it over.

How does it work?

A photo and a few words are usually enough. You need no drawing and no technical design.

1

Show what you need

Add a photo or briefly describe the problem. If you know the measurements, you can add them too.

A whole dishwasher because of one wheel?

When the spare part is no longer sold, somebody with a 3D printer can make a new one from the piece you still have. The same goes for clips, handles and wheels that are never sold on their own.

We are building a network of makers across Slovakia

We win over the first makers in person. We want profiles with photos of real work, a clear description of what the person does, and a real person behind the profile.

Before your first request

Do I need a drawing or 3D model?

No. Start with a photo and a short description. Add measurements if you know them. The maker will tell you what else they need to know.

Is one small item worth making?

Yes, if repairing or making it makes sense. The maker sets the price based on the work, material and time. Always confirm the total price before you start.

Does the maker need to be in my town?

For work at your home, the maker needs to be able to come to you. Smaller items can be shipped or handed over in person, even to a maker from another town.

Do you have something that cannot simply be bought or repaired?

Add a photo and a few words. See who nearby could do it.
